Study On The Vocabulary Of Cát Bà Yue Dialect In Qiaogang, Beihai Of Guangxi

There are two groups of Returned Overseas Chinese from Vietnam in Qiaogang,Beihai of Guangxi,The first is the ancestral home is in Guangdong area, used to live in Cát Bà Island, Haiphong City of Vietnam, The Cát Bà Yue dialect spoken in daily communication originates Guangfu Yue dialect. Second is the ancestral home is in Fangcheng Guangxi,used to live in Gusu Islands,Guangning of Vietnam,The Gusu Yue dialect spoken in daily communication originates Qinlian Yue dialect.This thesis bases on the field investigation and reference materials, chooses from the lexical perspective, takes the vocabulary of The Cát Bà Yue dialect as the main object of study, respectively contrast with the vocabulary of The Gusu Yue dialect and Yue dialect in Beihai citi, hopes to more comprehensively and more deeply understand the Basic features and development status in the vocabulary of Cát Bà Yue dialect.The main body of the thesis consists of five chapters. The first chapter is introduction, mainly introduces the general situation of Beihai, Qiaogang, the Vietnam returned overseas Chinese of Qiaogang, research and and the phonological system of Cát Bà Yue dialect. The second chapter, through the elaboration of four aspects of the ancient Chinese words, dialect words, characteristic words, foreign loanwords, to show the lexical overview of Cát Bà Yue dialect. The third chapter, from three angles of word formation, word meaning and culture, comparative analysis the similarities and differences in vocabulary of Cát Bà Yue dialect and Gusu Yue dialect. The Vietnamese culture, Overseas Chinese culture and regional culture in the vocabulary demonstrates the development and the return of overseas Chinese dialects. The fourth chapter, from two angles of word formation and culture, comparative analysis the similarities and differences in vocabulary of Cát Bà Yue dialect and Yue dialect in Beihai citi, not only to explore the characteristics of their vocabulary,but also to show the unique marine culture in vocabulary. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, mainly summaries the analysis and comparison of the whole thesis, and points out the innovation and shortcomings.
