In recent years, in order to meet the social development trend of Thai society,Thailand vocational colleges in Thailand have successively opened Chinese course. However, as special organizations different from primary and middle schools and universities, vocational colleges in Thailand show distinctive characteristics in respect of Chinese teaching. Due to the difference in various aspects, such as Thailand culture, characteristics of vocational colleges, and students' learning needs and characteristics, Some defects emerged in the teaching of Chinese in vocational colleges in Thailand. Particularly, the design of junior Chinese classroom teaching encounters a variety of problems. Through the analysis of relevant literature, the author finds that domestic research on the design for the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language mainly revolve around theoretical introduction, and there is a lack of relevant empirical research, particularly the research on the application of new teaching methods. As a Chinese voluntary teacher who worked as a Chinese teacher in a Thailand vocational college, the author became aware of the importance of the excellent classroom teaching design in Chinese classroom teaching of vocational colleges based on the10-month personal Chinese teaching experience in Thailand. Taking for example Thailand's Pathum Thani Technical College where the author taught Chinese, this paper conducts an in-depth analysis and study on the classroom design for the elementary comprehensive Chinese course in vocational colleges and proposes the situational interactive game teaching mode suitable for the Chinese class of vocational students in Thailand. On this basis, this paper comes up with the suggestions for the problems of the new teaching mode in the hope of providing not only references for those who teach Chinese in Thailand in the future, but also some help for other workers and researchers who specialize in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.
