In the era of communicative language teaching, interaction is, in fact, the heart of communication; it is what communication is all about,>Interactive teaching is just giving students something to do, getting back what they have done, and then assimilating it itself, so that one can decide what would be best to do next. Interactive Teaching does not mean just leaning students to make whatever sense they can from any experience (learning by doing), but, to be of value, needs the interaction of sensitive teachers to interact and challenge student thinking exposing them to new ideas.Through interaction, students can increase their language store as they listen to or read authentic linguistic material, or even the output of their fellow students in discussions, skits, joint, problem-solving tasks, or dialogue journals. In interaction, students can use al they possess of the language- all they have learned or casually absorbed-in real -life exchanges (Rivers 1981: 160-2) Even at an elementary stage, they learn in this way to exploit the elasticity of language (Rivers, Wilga. 1987. Interactive Language Teaching.). Interactive teaching values student's prior ideas and aims at empowering students to be independent learners. For teachers it offers an opportunity to learn along with the students and to use their interactive skills to listen carefully and challenge misconceptions where possible. The teacher's own knowledge will always be an important fact.On the base of analyzing the relational questions of interactive teaching, this thesis brings forward idiographic suggestions in listening, speaking, reading and writing of interactive teaching, and it makes an design of language classroom. Furthermore, accommodated with the development of computer and internet, the thesis gives an efficient scheme of interactive teaching on the web.At last, this paper gets the conclusion that what is real interactive teaching and in implementation of interactive teaching what we should pay attention to.
