Research On The Interrogative Sentences In Baijuyi’s Poems

Bai Juyi is one of the most important poets in Tang Dynasty.Bai Juyi has experienced nine dynasties and wrote more than two thousand and eight hundred poems in his life.Bai Juyi’s poetry is famous for its“popularity”,“popularity” refers not only to the popular of the thoughts,but also to the language of the works.Bai Juyi’s poetry is a mirror of the social life of the Tang Dynasty,the key to understanding the poet thought,and the materials of studying the art of Bai Juyi’s poems.What’s more,Bai Juyi’s poetry is the reliable materials to analyze the language in Tang dynasty.Therefore,this thesis studies the interrogative sentences from the perspective of linguistics,stylistics,and literature,aiming to making a new study of Bai Juyi.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction part.This part briefly introduces Bai Juyi’s poetry and its language characteristics,the research status of related issues,the research ideas and methods of the thesis.The second chapter studies the interrogative sentence in Bai Juyi’s poetry from the angle of grammar,Including interrogative pronouns,interrogative adverbs and interrogative mood words.The third chapter is the analysis of Bai Juyi’s poems in interrogative sentences.The interrogative sentences can be divided into four parts:Specific interrogations,Right-wrong interrogative sentence,Positive-negative interrogative sentences.The fourth chapter studies the interrogative sentences of Bai Juyi’s poems from the perspective of stylistics.The use of interrogative sentences and discourse structure arrangement are closely related,UsingInterrogative Sentences in intercourse poems is a unique creation by Bai Juyi.What’s more,Bai Juy created a style of Questions and Answers in poetry,which had an important effect in the history of the development of poetry.The fifth chapter analyzes the implication in the interrogative sentences.We can conclude four kind of implications:concerning the national politics,reflecting on himself,expressing the friendship,and exploring the aim of life.The last chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the main conclusions of the paper.
