With the humanistic psychology rising and developing continuously,more and more people began to attach importance to the emotional problems in language teaching and learning.Learners' learning behaviors and learning results are directly affected by their emotional state.So in vacational college English,in order to improve the students'psychological quality and individual learning ability,as well as the teaching effect,teachers should explore how to develop and cultivate students' affective factors in positive direction in teaching according to their personalities and professional characteristics.Through impemantating affective teaching appraoch effectively,teachers and students can learn together and make common progress in the emotional exchange activities.In view of Humanism psychology,Karshen's Affective Filter Hypothesis and Constructivism Approaches,with the art students in vocational college as the research subject.Respectively study from the following three aspects:the influence of affective factors on art students,English learning;how the affective teaching appraoch affects the art students'affective factors;the influence of affective teaching approach on the art students'learning achievement,in order to prove the role of the affective teaching approach in vocational college English teaching.The main instruments utilized in this research are three ways:questionnaire,interview and experiment.Experimental subjects were surveyed by some questionnaires and were tested before and after the experiment severally.The author took 80 students of two classes in the first grade of music education from Chaoyang Teachers College as the subjects.These two classes were divided into the control class and the experimental class.During the process of the study,the author used different teaching methods in her two classes,the affective teaching method for the experimental class and the traditional teaching method for the control class.Based on the experimental results and statistical analysis through the software SPSS.22,emotional teaching method greatly affects the level of art students' English learning in the vocational college.These methods can not only help to increase the interests of art students in English learning and enhance their learning motivation,but also to ease students' anxiety and tension.Compared with the control class through implementing the teaching experiment for one semester,the students' academic scores in the experimental class have been greatly increased by adopting emotional teaching method.The experiment in the experimental class proves that the affective teaching method is an effective means which can promote the students to have a healthy and all-round development.Meanwhile,it enhances the English teachers'emotional teaching ideas in the process of teaching so that make the effect of English teaching in the vocational college more effective and popular.
