Study On The Literary Creation Of ChenXv

Chen Xv is an important writer in the literary world during the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.He is good at creating traditional poetry,novels,legends,drama.In addition,there are many which are closely related to the development of socia new style,such as the film script,mordern drama and popular science articles.The First Chapter outlines Chen Xv’s life.He has a dynamic adolescent period,a successful middle age and a decline old age.He has various status which includes writer,tranlator,newspaperman and businessman.Observing and studying these different status could help us have a comprehensive understanding of this person.The Second Chapter discusses the development and change of Chen Xv’s literary creation experience from the view of time.It can make a division based upon the literary style,content and quantity.The first period is from 1896 to 1914,in which he mainly lived in Hangzhou and created some tranditional drama.These drama considered have relationship with his life made his name.From 1914 to 1918 is the second period.Chen Xv resigned from the editorial work and put himself into comercial.After 1919 is his last period.The Third Chapter discusses the relationship between Chen Xv and the people around him.Hangzhou and Shanghai,the cities Chen Xv lived,belonging to the economically developed area,have a higher degree of opening to the outside world.Three creative group formed around Chen Xv,which included family,colleagues and disciple.The Forth Chapter discusses the achievements and defects of Chen Xv’s literary works,so as to ascertain his status in the history of late Qing Dynsty and the Republic of China.
