Discourse Analysis Of Political Review In Vietnam People’s Daily In 2016

As the official newspaper of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam,Vietnam People’s Daily(Báo Nhan Dan)is the flagship of the Vietnamese media.The study of its political commentary discourse has both theoretical and practical significance.Based on the theory of discourse linguistics and relative knowledge about news commentary,this paper explores the construction of discourses,words and patterns in Vietnam’s "People’s Daily" in2016.From the perspective of sentences,in order to reduce the excessive information,the discourses have the information packaging phenomenon in the form of packaging nouns,discourse indicators,special / temporary combination.The forward-looking cognitive mechanism it reflects has the discourse function of continuation and transfer and can hide the interpersonal meaning orientation of discourse producers.There are four basic patterns : the theme continuation mode,the rheme continuation mode,the straight line continuation mode and the crossover continuation pattern.There are two types of structures: linear structure and nonlinear structure,micro-structure and macro-structure.A variety of composite models based on the four basic models shows the multidimensional unity of the Vietnamese language.The structure under different perspectives of the audience improves the cue discourse and context,reflecting the discourse of the relativity and level.
