A Simulating Consecutive Interpreting Practice Report Of Sentence Translation Strategy Under The Guidance Of Interpretive Theory

As we pay more attention on global environment condition,academic conferences about finding environmental problems and giving scientific solutions gain more attention.Under this background,international academic conferences interpretation becomes an essential link to connect Chinese academic research with the world.Interpretation of academic meeting of Chinese Society for Environmental Science helps us spread Chinese research achievements out.So it is of vital importance to know and use conference interpretation skills properly.This paper is based on the interpretation of 2016 annual meeting of Chinese Society for Environmental Science,take interpretive theory as guidance,and combine the triangular model with the interpreting practice process.Through interpretation materials analyze,the author tries to find the significance of interpretive theory in Chinese English consecutive translation and focus on translation strategy of sentences in the process of Chinese English consecutive translation practice.Through analysis of sentences,author tries to solve problems like sentence meaning ambiguous,meaning repetition,component deletion and sentence structure incompact and concludes four strategies including contextual amplification and substitution,omission,complementary translation and split and recombination.This paper is a record for the process of the Chinese English consecutive translation practice and a record for interpretation process analyze under the guidance of the triangular model.In this paper,author concludes the translation strategy of sentences and hopes to provide reference on related academic meetings interpretation practice.
