Analysis On The Consonance Of Electronic Organ Timbres

This paper focuses on the analysis of the consonance of part of electronic organs timbres. To begin with, this paper introduces the current research status of Electronic Orchestration, Timbre, Consonance in China and abroad. Then give an overview of YAMAHA electronic organ model ELS-02C, a retrospect of the semantic of'Consonance' among Chinese and foreign languages. Subsequently, performs an experiment on consonance of combinations in pairs of 9 chosen timbres in the electronic organ on the basis of Helmholtz's conclusion of consonance of timbres.Finally, classifies 5 grades of the consonance of electronic organ timbres as 'very low-relatively low - moderate - relatively high - very high'. This paper aims at giving objective recommendations to electronic organ orchestration from a certain angle.
