At the end of Qing Dynasty,in order to improve the wisdom of the people,the country set off the social education gradually.Fengtian areas of social education also record this preliminary development.In the early Republic,Fengtian areas established management mechanism to responsible for social educational matters.Fengtian areas carried out the education actively.It included the school and social educational aspects.Social education were concentrated in county mainly,but also radiated to some rural areas.Education involved wide content,form and methods,it made up for the lack of school education.It improved labor the quality improvement of the social atmosphere,and promote the spead of democratic revolutionary.Therefore,the social education in the late Qing Dynasty Fengtian are had achieved good results.But it inevitably had flaws and weaknessns.This paper consists of indtoducation,text and epilogue.The text is divides into three parts:The first part mainly analyses the background of social education in Fengtian areas.On politics,the abolition of the imperial examination system and the establishment system,and the officials that support education were a great extent.On economic,the development of national econmy was the financial support and request to tradition labor fore.On culture,the spread of saving country through education,stimulate the education.But the bad social ethos of the Fengtian ares need to improve because of it hindered the social development.The second part summarizes the situation of the social education.There were many social education activities.A variety of forms of social education career unfolding,school type social education: simple and easy to read,half day school,cram school,civilians literacy school,civilians literacy night classes.The type society education was including libraries,museums,newspapers,preaching activities,improvement of opera,parks and some forms.The third part mainly summarizes the characteristics and the influence.It was outstanding for the education content,form and method.To the centain extent,it affected the Fengtian areas of political,economic and culture.But we need to recognize the limitations and insufficient in the development.
