A Discourse Analysis Of The Narrative Structure Of "Muslim’s Funeral" And Its Translation

"Muslim’’s funeral"(hereinafter referred to as the "funeral")since the publication of rave reviews,after various versions appeared,in recent years,the researchers analyzed from various angles and depict the "funeral" of the research results is very rich,in different poses and with different expressions,but mainly concentrated in the view of literature,especially from the linguistic perspective of discourse analysis the article less.Therefore,this paper tries to analyze from the perspective of discourse analysis,using the narrative mode of Labov narrative structure of Uyghur version "funeral" of discourse analysis,to explore whether Labov analysis model has guiding significance for the translation,whether between the source text and target text has the same narrative structure,the translation and the original text which features and advantages compared to.This paper is divided into three parts.The introduction part briefly introduces the narrative structure and the narrative structure of the novel "funeral".The first chapter mainly introduces the connotation of narrative structure,and describes the six parts of Labov’s narrative analysis model,which provides theoretical support for the whole paper.The second chapter is the main body of the thesis,which describes,analyzes,concludes and summarizes the narrative structure of the novel "funeral".The study found that in the discourse and tragic atmosphere,it is obvious,the chapter point effect is not obvious;textual orientation and chapter two point clear spatio-temporal crisscross clues,make the readers to experience the interval reading experience;progress is the core part of the narrative structure,the translator to master the two clues in public the growth experience of the chain,in order to "month","jade" as the image series from the story,in the two reached the climax of the tragedy intertwined;through questioning,eliminating doubt of events,so that readers can quickly sort out the plot,the character change of deliberations,the plot of the story is the driving factor results;and respond to form the end part and the opening Overture reference,make the complete structure.The conclusion of the whole dissertation was summarized,that translation reproduces the narrative structure of the original,with the 6 elements of Labovnarrative analysis model,the readers can get the same as the original readers reading experience,verify the Labov analysis model is applicable to translation research.
