Dance Movement Therapy(DMT)is one of the most important forms of expressional therapy.It uses physical and action for psychotherapy to promote integration in individual emotion,cognitive,physiology and sociality.Group counseling is in the community context to provide psychological help and guidance of a form of psychological counseling and treatment.Dancing group counseling will be applied to group counseling,through physical action and interpersonal interaction within the group,to promote the individual in the communication through observation,learning,experience,to understand themselves,explore themselves,accept themselves,and improve the relationship between others,learning new attitudes and behavior,and promote integration in individual emotion,cognitive,physiology and sociality.In this paper,the basic concepts,functions and historical origins of DMT are introduced in the literature review section.Based on the previous studies,the theoretical support of psychotherapy is as follows:mirror neuron,embodied cognition theory,James-Lange theory of emotions and study of body movements influences psychological development and status.Secondly,the difference between the group counseling and the dance group therapy is made,and the related research is reviewed.Finally,the concept of self-acceptance,interpersonal trust and related research are introduced to prepare for the intervention study.Self-acceptance is an insight and acceptance of objective reality,an important part of self-consciousness,which closely affects individual mental health.Interpersonal trust is the basis of interpersonal communication,is an important condition for the formation of good interpersonal relationships.The study part of the intervention group takes the group counseling as the intervention means,discusses its influence on the students' self-acceptance,interpersonal trust and the mechanism of action.A total of 16 subjects were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 8)and control group(n = 8).The experimental group was treated for 8 weeks,once a week,about 1.5 Hours of dancing group psychological counseling intervention,the control group will not interfere.Before the intervention,the members of the experimental group were interviewed to understand their self-evaluation,interpersonal relationship,motivation to participate in the situation,targeted to put forward a semi-structured program,in formal intervention,supported by embodied cognition theory,group dynamics theory and social learning theory.After the intervention,the self-acceptance scale and the interpersonal trust scale were used to quantify the intervention effect.The subjective evaluation scale,interview and text data of the group members were used for qualitative analysis.The results of the intervention study showed that the experimental group had a significant improvement in self-acceptance and interpersonal trust.Combined with the qualitative data,through the analysis of the dancing group psychological counseling seven factors(awareness,expression,respect,supportive groups,learning,creativity,concerned about the current sitting in the unknown attitude),and use the map to show its mechanism.Finally,the whole research process is reviewed and summarized,and the future research of DMT is put forward.DMT can not only play a positive role in normal mental health,but also as a special needs of the crowd,mental illness patients with adjuvant therapy.At present,most of the domestic research is based on students as the main body,but also extended to a wider crowd which to do more detailed research.
