With the rapid scientific-technical progress being made, artificial intelligence(AI)is now replacing human’s jobs in many fields, which encourages some entrepreneurs to predict that human interpreters will also be replaced by AI machine translator(MT)in near future. However, the nature of interpreting, especially its humanistic feature, makes it very difficult to be handled by MT,whereas the interpreter’s subjectivity, which can reflect the humanistic feature of interpreting,is something that shall be recognized by interpreting practitioners and the whole society.Regarding the above issue, the author planned to adopt the interpreting task of2016 Seminar on Town Infrastructure Construction and Management of Inland Regions for Developing Countries as a study case to discuss the subjectivity of CI interpreters under the guidance of the interpreting dynamic RDA model. The author studied on how the interpreter’s irreplaceable feature of subjectivity can be displayed at the three stages of Relevance for understanding,Deverbalization for note-taking and Adaptation for expression under the Model, which was a clear demonstration of the humanistic feature of interpreting.Combining theory and practice, the author displayed her initiative and creativity so that the CI is smoothly completed, building a bridge of information communication and culture exchanges between organizers and participators.Since those cannot be done by AI,this study exhibited the interpreters’ irreplaceable role of subjectivity and the humanistic feature of interpreting, which was favorable not only for the recognition of interpreters’ value and respect towards interpreters, but for guidance on future interpreting practices as well.
