Elementary school students are in a critical period of learning development,attention is an important psychological condition for them to get their knowledge,master skills,and complete the study tasks.The purpose of this study was examined the effects of attention training on learning capacity and test anxiety of elementary school students.The subjects of this study were 124 of 4th grade students from three classes of one elementary school of Zhejiang Province,who were randomly assigned the concentration experimental group of attention training(40 students),the mindfulness experimental group of attention training(42 students),and control group(42 students).The measures were SNAP-IV,Test Anxiety Inventory,and scholastic attainment of language and mathematic.The results were showed that after the attention training,the attention behavior of concentration group and mindfulness group both were significantly higher than the control group;the test anxiety of concenrtation group was significant lower than the control group;the scholastic attainment of language of the concentration group was significant higher than the control group;and the scholastic attainment of mathematic of the concentration group and mindfulness group both were higher than the control group.
