Vocabulary teaching research has been an increasingly important research field in recent years.The interdisciplinary research has also fully developed.Humanistic approach emerged in the 1960 s,mainly from the perspective of psychology and how to create essential conditions for effective learning.This research,based on Humanistic approach,through combining humanistic approach with vocabulary teaching model,attempts to extend ways for non-native learners to learn vocabulary.This research explores the humanism-based teaching mode through the combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods.The paper is divided into four sections.The first section is introduction,interpreting research purposes,research scope,technical route and literature review respectively;The second section gives a detailed description of practical application of Humanism in vocabulary teaching,mainly focusing on the theoretical basis,the design and analyses of the questionnaire,the Humanism-based teaching design;The third section practice and reflection the teaching design on the preset.The second and third parts,as the main body of this paper,unfold the feasibility of Humanistic approach in the teaching of vocabulary by designing and practicing teaching activities;The last section reveals the main results,pointing out deficiencies and forecasting the direction of the future related research.This research is a brave step in Humanism-based vocabulary teaching.The results reveal that Humanistic approach has implications for vocabulary teaching,as a kind of teaching method is shown slightly thin alone.In the actual teaching,the application should also be combined with other teaching methods.
