An Investigation On Current Situation Of College Foreign Language In Kyrgyzstan

With the development of globalization and the close relationship between countries around the world,Kyrgyzstan actively develop a peace,free and opening foreign policy,which provides a good external environment for Kyrgyzstan’s foreign language and makes a prosperous development in foreign language teaching.Taking the development of English and Turkish education in Kyrgyzstan as an example and combining with Kyrgyzstan foreign language education policy and planning,this article lists the course setting,teaching materials,teachers’ number,students’ learning purpose in English and Turkish teaching program among the Kyrgyzstan universities and analyses the current situation of Kyrgyz foreign language education with the method of survey,interview,literature and observation.This paper also comparatively analyzes the existing Chinese language development research in Kyrgyzstan,compares the English and Turkish development in Kyrgyzstan,and summarizes the following characteristics: there are many local teachers for English and Turkish major and less local teachers for Chinese major,English and Turkish taught in co-founded colleges and universities enjoys the strong autonomy in the curriculum setting,teaching management,teaching materials and other aspects,and it is more difficulty to study the cultural and educational materials for the Kyrgyz students.Through the investigation on the characteristics of foreign language education in Kyrgyzstan,it also brings some enlightenment to the Chinese international education for China.the Chinese major should adjust the curriculum according to the training goal,strengthen the training of local Chinese teachers,pay attention to the preparation of the textbooks of Kyrgyz students,improve the Students’ learning motivation,master the latest learning dynamics of students;actively promote certification of Chinese education,promote the breadth and depth of Chinese language development with cooperative education and play the geographical advantage of Xinjiang to achieve maximum Chinese education resources.
