| In the middle period of Qianlong’s dominance,Xinjiang was unified thoroughly.Meanwhile,the poets in the Qing Dynasty came to the Western Regions in succession,making a world for a great amount of authors and the prosperity of poetry.Consequently,the creation of literature in the Western Regions came into full play.In this sense,it was in the Qing Dynasty that a large amount of the famous poetry of the Western Regions was developed.At that time,Wang Zengyi’s poems about the Western Regions played a significant role in the poetry world,where his poetry was concluded in Juyi Hall poetry.When being in office in the Northwest,Wang Zengyi wrote down his experiences,even the details,in the Western Regions emotionally,especially the poems he made when he was assigned to finish the work there.His poetry was the unique description of the customs and habits as well as the landscape in the Western Regions,but it was hardly studied comprehensively because of the uncertain thinking that he was a minor official.For this reason,this report will collect and study his poetry of the Western Regions,providing cases and referential data for studying the life of the border regions in Qianlong’s dominance in addition to folkways as well as style and features of the areas in Urumqi.Five sections are included in this thesis.The first chapter states the purposes,present situation,methods and significances of Wang Zengyi’s poets about the Western Regions synthetically.In the second chapter,the author proves the experiences and official career of Wang Zengyi.Chapter three shows the study of Uygur Xinjiang miscellaneous chant,studying the editions and the content in different kinds of this book.At the same time,the author compares the book with Uygur Xinjiang Zhuzhi-Ci to explore its value.The fourth chapter,without the introduction of Uygur Xinjiang miscellaneous chant,is the classified study of Wang Zengyi’s other poems about the Western Regions,which is made according to subject and content.Additionally,it studies the poems of scenery,people’s livelihood as well as homesickness in various ways.Chapter five is the artistic feature of Wang Zengyi’s poetry about the Western Regions. |
