Carl Gustav Jung(1875-1961),a well-known Swiss analytical psychologist, whose psychological theory is based on the theoretical basis of society and biology. The scope of the study involves religion, mysticism, alchemy, art and so on.Jung believes that wanting to really understand the unconscious content is the need to exclude those in his view and the dream itself is not associated with the concept and association. On this basis,Jung further divided the unconscious,he believes that the spiritual world has three levels: consciousness, personal unconscious and collective unconscious.Among them, the "collective unconscious" is the basis of all the artistic views of Jung,in Jung's view that "collective unconscious" is a dependent on genetic and evolutionary, and not based on personal experience and independent of the psychological elements.Collective unconscious central prototype is "self"-on behalf of order, unity and perfection, but also the realization of human life to achieve the basis of self.In the view of Jung, the process of artistic creation and works of art are all formed entirely under the collective unconscious domination. The artist exists in the process of creation as a collective unconscious carrier, which shows that human beings The spirit of the prototype, which is the vitality of life and the power of art creation. At the same time,Jung's art material is divided into two types: sensory and illusion. These two types are similar to realism and abstractism in art.Jung has compared the ancient and the souls of modern people, and then in the civilized society, the collective unconscious special significance: to achieve the ancient spirit of the continuation of the spirit of the modern. In the process of artistic creation, the artist is an intermediary to express the ancient prototype image,we can also in realism outside the artistic style, see a lot of the original spirit of the works of art.More importantly, the collective unconscious in the modern spiritual world can become a self-realization,self-perfection of an export. Moreover, with the changes of the times, the relationship between "collective unconsciousness" and artistic creation has also changed. If the "collective unconscious" in the early and more is to provide a "disorder of artistic expression" and "original image" interpretation. Then, after the Second World War,the United States,"collective unconscious" catalyzed the theme of mythology in artistic creation and the pursuit of universality. From the chaotic unconscious expression to the search for universal artistic creation,we seem to see two distinct forms of art.But this represents a common pursuit: through the return of ancient,to pursue between man and nature, between the emotional ties between people and the human spirit of the world. However,Jung does not think that artists should act as a personalized individual, and to some extent as an unconscious carrier to carry out artistic creation activities, denying the artist's creative ability. At the same time, with the development of the relationship between psychoanalysis and society, this has also been questioned by the fact that the visitor's judgment as a patient and the relationship between analysis and analysis. In this case we have not taken this so-called through a discipline to another area to explain the need for? Whether its final result is only able to enrich the theoretical framework of one of the categories? Or is there a possibility that the way through the art to touch the living body itself? In this regard,we can re-sort out the relationship between Jung's "collective unconscious" theory and artistic creation. This leads to the new connection and significance of "collective unconscious" and art field in the new age background. There are six chapters in this paper. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly introduces the relevant research background and the difficulties of the article. The second chapter mainly introduces Jung's theory and artistic view. The third chapter is about the collective unconscious The fourth chapter discusses the new changes in the relationship between collective unconsciousness and artistic creation, focusing on the artistic creation of American artists after World War II;the fourth chapter is about Jung's Aesthetics of reflection and new possibilities, combined with Chinese contemporary artists to discuss the case.
