Objective:1.To understand the current status of college students’ coping styles and characteristics,to explore the relations between the adult attachment,the self differentiation and coping styles.2.To explore the group guidance to improve the present situation of college students’ coping styles.Methods:1.Research studyUsing the questionnaire of general information、self-differentiation scale-revised(DSI-R),the Coping Style Questionnaire(CSQ),the Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory(ECR),to test five universities in Shanxi Province,a total of 800 students,understanding the characteristics and present status of college students’ coping styles,and analyzes the relationship among the coping style,adult attachment and the self-differentiation.2.Intervention study:Picking up self-differentiation of low grade students from the baseline survey 60 called the research object,is divided into intervention group and control group.According to the baseline survey results and the physical and mental characteristics of college students,combined with related theories and teacher guidance,group guidance scheme,design of self-differentiation to eight group counseling intervention group,90 minutes at a time,once a week,in the control group not to intervene.Results:1.The results of the survey:Problem solving dimension professional differences,liberal arts majors score is significantly higher than science students;Remorse dimensions exist gender differences,boys remorse score is significantly higher than girls;Help dimensions exist gender,grade,whether or not the only,source of urban and rural areas,and emotional status differences.Boys score was significantly lower than girls,The senior grade students scored significantly lower than the other three grade,The only-child score was significantly lower than the not-only-child,urban students scored significantly lower than that of countryside,Students in loving scored significantly higher than that of single and in love once had love experience of the students’ score;Fantasy dimension professional differences,liberal arts majors score is significantly higher than science students;Retreat dimensions exist gender,grade,whether or not the only,source of urban and rural areas,and emotional status differences,Boys score was significantly lower than girls,The senior grade students scored significantly higher than that of the other three grade,The only-child score significantly higher than the not-only-child,The urban students score is significantly higher than the countryside,Emotional state for ever love students score significantly higher than that of single and loving students score;Rationalization dimensions exist differences in gender,grade,whether only and emotional status,boys score is significantly higher than girls,the senior grade students scored significantly higher than that of the other three grade,the one-child score significantly higher than the one-child,emotional state for ever love students score significantly higher than that of single and love high school grades.College students’ adult attachment,self-differentiation and their coping style were significant correlation approach,and adult attachment and self-differentiate themselves can affect college students’ coping styles in a certain extent.2.Intervention results:After the group guidance,intervention group had a significantly higher test scores after the mature coping styles pretest scores,not mature coping styles posttest score was significantly lower than a pretest scores,no significant difference test scores before and after the hybrid approach,the control group no significant difference.After the group guidance,the attachment anxiety and avoidance attachment score intervention group were significantly lower than a pretest scores,the control group no significant difference.After the group guidance,the intervention group self-differentiation total scores and its four dimensions were significantly higher than the previous test scores,the control group no significant difference.Conclusion:1.The coping styles in gender,grade,whether or not the only,source of urban and rural areas,professional and emotional status of significant differences on demographic variables,such as.2.Mature adult attachment can affect coping styles and immature coping styles,and can through self indirectly affect mature coping styles and immature coping styles,self-differentiation partial intermediary role;Adult attachment through self-differentiation indirectly affect hybrid approach,self-differentiation completely intermediary role.3.Group counseling intervention not only improve the students’ coping styles,but also raise the level of the college students’ self-differentiation,improve the college students’ adult attachment.
