The Local Writing Of “Post-80s” Novels

Han Han,Guo Jingming,Zhang Yueran and other "post-80s" writers mainly focus on the urban campus experience,and the text generally presents the face of youth literature.However,the writing of "post-80s" new force such as Fu Yuehui,Ma Jinlian,Chen Chongzheng and Yan Ge constitutes "another kind of youth writing" who are very active in recent years in the People’s Literature,October and other pure literature publications.They do not rigidly adhere to the personal experience of campus and consciously follow the ancient modern local literature tradition.What’s more,they are committed to engraving the fission of local China in the process of urbanization,outlining the local daily life scenes and creating a series of different character images in order to build the dialogue bridge between the local and urban,traditional and modern through the text.The "post-80s" new force takes the initiative to move to the local literature position,which not only shows that the "post-80s" literature have diverse writing features and aesthetic styles,but also reflects the introspection consciousness and development trend that "post-80s" writers start to dialogue with tradition and pay tribute to the classic.The "post-80s" local novels are the rural construction based on the local experience of childhood.These novels trace the local experience with children’s perspective and reveal the truth of survival in the sentimental atmosphere,showing double critique to the modern urban civilization and local reality.This paper will take the "post-80s" urban youth literature for reference,and dig deep into the native imaginations of "post-80s" local novels mainly focusing from the local perspective,local consciousness,local narrative,local aesthetic and so on through close reading.In addition,this article will outline the unique native experience of "post-80s" generation as far as possible,sort out the strategies and methods that how to imagine the home village,the changes of the aesthetic form of "post-80s" novels,and put "post-80s" local novels in the whole literary pedigree,recognizing their contributions of persisting the modern local literature tradition and enlarging local literaturewriting space,reflecting on the existing problems and shortcomings.The paper mainly includes four parts.The first part analyzes wide and multiple local views from the angle of writing space.The second part thinks about the evolution of the local consciousnes of the "post 80s" writers through the different characters in the novels;The third part researches the narrative strategies.The last part compares the similarities and differences between the local meditation and early "youth literature" aesthetic form.
