Community correction is the product of the idea of socialization of execution.It is important to make up for the lack of prison jurisprudence,to help criminals return to society more smoothly and to the development of the humanitarian spirit.With the government's support,community correction in China has been developed rapidly and get a great result.However,with the development of community correction,there are many problems at the same time.For example,the identity of community correction judicial workers is unclear,the role of community correction social workers is not clear and establishment and management of community correction institute is still controversial.In this case,the role perception of community correction staff may be a problem,which is the basic assumption of this study.In this study,quantity research method was taken,using the questionnaire survey data of 225 community correction workers of Central China Normal University community correction project in 2013.In research method,describe statistics,correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were carried out by SPSS software.Following three research purpose were hoped to achieve:First,analyze the role perception status of community correction staff.To explore whether there are problems in the role perception and the extend of the problem.To explore whether there are role perception difference in different demographic characteristics and different types of categories community correction staff,and what areas the differences are manifested in.Second,to explore what factors will have an impact on the role perception from the organizational level.In organizational support,organizational management and incentive system,which factors are significantly related to the role perception of community correction staff,and what factors have a significant impact on the role of staff.Third,the author put forward targeted countermeasures based on the analysis results.The following three basic conclusions are drawn from this study:First,community correction staff have a mild role perception problem.In the two sub-variables,role conflict is more severe than role ambiguity.In the demographic characteristics,there are significant difference with different education,age and economic status staff.In the category of post,the degree of role conflict in community correction social workers is significantly higher than that of the judicial workers.Second,extract the promotion system,management standardization,superior support,work autonomy and management specialization these 5 common factors through factor analysis.All of these 5 factors have a significant correlation with the role perception,and also have a significant linear relationship.Through the correlation analysis,promotion system,management standardization,superior support,job autonomy and management specialization are significantly negatively correlated with the role ambiguity.And promotion system,management standardization,job autonomy and management specialization are significantly negatively correlated with the role conflict.After the multiple regression analysis of influential factors,I found that:there is a significant linear relationship among role perception with the factors of promotion system,management standardization,superior support,job autonomy and management specialization.And the regression equation of the influential factors are:role ambiguity=17.606+0.878*management standardization +0.839*management specialization +0.395*superior support +0.355*promotion system +0.254*job autonomy,role conflict=2.498-0.859*management specialization-0.682*management standardization-0.420*promotion system-0.340*job autonomy.Third,based on the research results,I put forward the intervention countermeasures:improve the relevant laws and regulations of community correction work,improve the organization management standardization,improve the professional organization management and open up the promotion channel.
