As an important executive body of community correction,the community correction staff mainly includes three types,such as the community correction workers,the community correction social workers and the community correction volunteers.Different identities of the community correction staff plays a different role and have different role-cognitive problems in the community correction work.This article assumes that there are similarities and differences between urban and rural community correction staff and different status community correction staff on the problems of role cognition.The purpose of this paper is to through qualitative research which is mainly including interview and quantitative research which is mainly including questionnaire,and combined with the existing domestic and foreign research status of role cognition of the community corrections staff,which is just to carry on the contrast analysis of the conditions about role cognitive problems of the community correction staff between urban and rural and different status,and by which we can clarify the role cognitive problems,the similarities and differences of the role cognitive problems that existing in different field, different identities and positions of the community correction staff,and making the final system attribution analysis.The structure of the article is mainly divided into the following sections:The first part is the introduction,the author mainly introduces the research background,research meaning and purpose which are relevant with the role cognitive problems of urban and rural community correction staff,also respectively defined and combed the basic concepts and the literature which related to this study,and on this basis,summarizes the research ideas,the research methods,the sample and variable measurement of this article.In the second and third sections,the author presents the data analysis results related to this study which mainly includes the urban and rural community corrections staff questionnaire survey data.On the basis of the comparative analysis of the questionnaire data which is about the community correction staff in different working field,different position and different identity,the author combines the qualitative research data to carry on the role of cognitive problems which is about the urban and rural community corrective staff that in different status and position and the internal and both internal and external factors affecting the role of cognitive problems.In the fourth part,the author combines the previous results of qualitative analysis and quantitative interview data to make a specific interpretation about the role cognitive problems of the urban and rural community corrective staff which mainly includes the role of vague,lacking job autonomy,insufficient of investment degree,the role lack of standardized measurement,lack of the sense of belonging, role conflict,etc.In addition,the author carries out comparison of the similarities and differences of the community corrective staff which is between the city and countryside including township and rural town and also between in different position,make the problem more clear.In the fifth part,the author combines results of data analysis of the previous second,third and fourth part,assists by the interviews feedback information of community corrections staff,and try to make a attribution analysis of the existing problems about the urban and rural community corrective staff.The last part is the research summary.The main contents include:First,the research innovations and limitations of the study; Second,community correction legislation to regulate,should further implement the scope of the specific duties,the rights and obligations of the community correction staff,which is very important to clarify its role cognition;Third,if we want to improve the role cognition of the community correction staff,not only needs at all levels of government to perfect the legislation of community correction,community correction institutions to increase their training,but also needs to strengthen the selection of community correction staff to improve all aspects of literacy of the community correction staff;Fourth,further elaborates the community correction policy recommendations.
