A Case Work Intervention In The Home-based Care Service For The Mild Disabled Elderly

With the deepening of the aging population of our country,the number of the aged population is increasing,and the number ofdisabled and semi disabled elderly is also increasing.October 2016,the National Aging Office has made a sampling survey on the living conditions of the elderly in China,and the report shows that although the health status of the elderly in today's society has improved greatly,18.3% of the elderly are still in the state of disabled and semi disabled elderly is also increasing,and the total number reaches 40.63 million,accounting for about twenty percent of the elderly population.Elderly people with disability and semi disabilitycan often have more pressure on the economic and spiritual aspects because of their own diseases,so the economic and mental pressures should be taken into account in the choice of the pension mode.According to the relevant research,living in their own familiar environment can not only can reduce economic expenditures,but also enhance their life satisfaction.Therefore,the traditional home-based and institutional pension has been difficult to meet the mildly disabled elderly in the physical and mental aspects of the endowment needs.Additionally,our current home-aged service is in the initial stage,in the provision of professional services,personnel management,talent introduction and many other aspects still require improvement.Therefore,the introduction of professional social workers,providing new style of home-based service will play its advantages to a great extent and greatly improve service level and meet the needs of this group.Based on the day care center of a community in Jinan,this paper selects the mild-lost old person in the community as the research object.The research is done based on advantage perspective,the theory of activity,hierarchy theory of needs and social ecosystem theory by using case interview and observation.Through field investigation,understanding the old age of the community in the elderly,the existing problems of home-based service are discussed.With the help of community staff,a professional relationship is established with the main case,through the development of specific services,further understanding of the case of the main home-aged reality needs,help the case to clarify their irrational beliefs,together to formulate a convert plan.Fully excavate the dominant resources available to the owners themselves and their surroundings exert the professional superiority of the case work to intervene in the service,help the case to improve its social ecology network and to improve their ability of social communication.Through the provision of professional medical rehabilitation and psychological counseling services,to compensate for mild disabled elderly cannot meet the needs of home-aged services,in order to make them better satisfy diversified pension requirements,and other mild disability elderly home-aged services to provide advice.
