Study On The Demands Of Community Home-based Care Services For China's Disabled Elderly

With the aging of the population increasing,the number of the disabled elderly is also growing.In 2015,China's disability?half of the elderly population is roughly 40.63 million,accounting for 18.3% of the elderly.Based on the fact that traditional family care is declining,the large number of disabled elderly people have created a huge demand for care services.The demand for community care services for elderly people with disability in the home has been highlighted.Using the data of " Chinese Longitudinal Health Longevity Survey(CLHLS)",which was organized in 2014 by the Center for Health Aging and Development of Peking University,this study explores the needs of elderly disabled people in different communities and its influencing factors,based on eight of the community-aged services asked in the questionnaire.To compare the urban and rural differences and analyze the problem of the service supply of the aged in the elderly with the demand from the angle of view,in order to construct the Community Endowment Service Supply mode to meet the needs of the elderly.Research findings: 1,The elderly out of the physical security needs,the health care services demand is the highest.Combining with supply,living care services and chat diversion services are without supply but a higher proportion of demand.However,health care services are supply and demand matching.2,The personal characteristics of the elderly people with disability are the hard constraint of the needs for the community's old-age service,and the impact on the demand of different community care services is different.For example,the degree of disability only has a significant impact on the requirement of providing health knowledge service.The only one-child family and the poor economic situation of the elderly have a higher demand.Urban and rural disparities are the most significant factors affecting the demand for elderly community care services,and the elderly who living in rural areas need services higher than urban and town.3,Urban and rural household disability elderly community care service demand difference is affected by the economic development level of urban and rural areas,and urban and rural home disability elderly social demographic characteristics of low correlation.Although the elderly of the urban and rural homes in the health care service demand difference is the most obvious,but from the supply and demand matching situation,the rural home disability of the elderly in the spirit of comfort services are significantly higher than the proportion of the demand for the elderly in rural areas.The social needs of the rural elderly are obvious.
