Under the background of urbanization and aging,pension problem of the empty-nesters in rural area faces many difficulties.This paper takes the Village Bei of Hebei province as the case.By the theory of social support,this paper analyzes the influence of the social support of the empty-nesters from different factors of emotional relationship,group relationship,instrumental relationship,and researches the pension difficulties of rural empty-nesters.This paper analyzes the effect of the three main body in the social support of rural empty-nesters,and draws the following findings.In emotional relationships,intergenerational support is influenced by the thinking of intergenerational exchange and gradually transformed into rational exchange.The function of family pension is weakened.In group relationship,neighbors and relatives follow the feedback support of humanity contact and resource exchange in social support.Their support keeps a low-level mutual function,which is still indispensable.In instrumental relationship,government and community-based mutual organizations have insufficient social support for the empty-nesters,which caused by the insufficient social security in rural?low-level socialization in institutional pension?single-way support to the empty-nesters from community village committee.To sum up,the social pension?institutional pension or community pension haven't played an effective supporting role.Now,the empty-nesters are in a state of self-sufficiency,self-care,emotional self-solace.They only have to choose the way of self-pension.Therefore,rural communities should make full use of relatives ?neighborhoods and other local resources,and gradually explore new mutual support pension model that suitable for rural community development.
