With the continuous development of social economy, the contradiction of employment of college students and the market demand has become increasingly prominent. In order to alleviate the severe employment situation, in recent years the state has increased investment in education to occupation. However, there are many problems in the process of development of occupation education in the secondary vocational school students, for example, the decline of employment quality, frequent job hopping, triggering the thinking of the majority of scholars. These problems show that the secondary vocational school students lack the ability of occupation planning.Under this backgrounds and based on the opportunity in Wuhan City Shipai Ling Senior occupation high school,the author carry out occupation planning about the theme of the service to find out the current lack of vocational students in the occupation planning ability, and to explore the social services involved in the secondary vocational school students to enhance the ability of occupation planning model. Through the questionnaire survey and observation, the author found that the service object of occupation planning ability is very weak, mainly displays in: the lack of self cognition, occupation orientation is not clear, occupation planning awareness is weak and lack of basic occupation quality. Based on the problems,combined with the method of group social work, The author determine the occupation planning theme activities, from self cognition, occupation cognition, occupation and occupation planning in four aspects to enhance the quality of service.Through evaluation, the author found that the service object of self cognitive ability has improved, basically have the occupation planning consciousness, but still can not analyze the specific occupation planning. The author draws the following conclusion: vocational students occupation planning ability is very weak, occupation planning ability of secondary vocational school students to enhance the training is a long-term process, social class is an effective way to enhance the ability of secondary vocational school students in occupation planning services,But social workers need to have professional knowledge of occupation planning.
