| Lintao County of Gansu province, which is the China's first batch of "Athletics town" and the last century the typical area in the early 1990 s to carry out athletics, it is necessary to study the development of the county's current athletics. Based on fieldwork in Lintao County, this paper study from teaching activities to the grassroots,to explore current Lintao County athletics career problems and make recommendations targeted to promote the development of the county and Gansu athletics career.In this paper, takes the development of the "National Athletics Town" in Lintao County track and field as the object of the study. By using the methods of Literature review, interviews, field visits, questionnaire, mathematical statistics to study the masses Lintao County, schools, development of Athletics in the "National Athletics Town" and identify the existence problems of development issues and put forward the corresponding strategies. Study the following conclusions:1. The difference in athletics participants gender in Mass Lintao County is insignificant, exercise crowd which is mainly middle-aged people,and education level is mostly junior high school education, and the personal freedom is the main form of exercise. The ways that the crowd learn about athletics by TV, networks, newspapers and magazines, and more than half the people are accord with standard sports population. However, the people's sports place is short, and is lack of the professional sports instructors.2. The PE Teachers of Lintao County Middle School are tend to be younger age,but the male to female ratio is not balanced, and there is less opportunities to learn and exchange. the research capacity of teacher is not high, the content track and field teaching is single, lack of novelty and interest, forms of organization is not reasonable, track and field students learning enthusiasm is not high.3. Some of the schools in Lintao County is lack of the athletics field and equipment facilities, sports funding is single source and investment is less,seriously affected the quality of teaching and after-school track and field training,also reflected the leadership of school lack of the knowledge of athletic value.4. Lintao County lack of a reasonable mechanism for the competition, there isless number of students to participate in the athletics competition, students come from bad condition, have less opportunity to participate in after-school training,degree of scientific selection is lower, learning and training contradictions is significant, overall level of student is not high, the students future can not be guaranteed.We propose the following measures for the above-mentioned conclusions:1. Lintao county government and sports-related departments should intensify further improvement of the track and field venues and equipment and facilities to solve the shortage of Track and Field facility, train the sports Instructor and backbone, organize regular training to improve professional skills and organizational capabilities, vigorously carry out publicity and education of the masses' awareness of fitness and fitness knowledge.2. Strengthen and enhance the physical teachers construction, optimize the structure of sports teacher, draw fresh blood through the exchange of learning,and actively explore innovative teaching methods, use reasonable organizational forms, emphasize the fitness, entertainment and education of the athletics sports,combine the new teaching methods and science teaching methods and apply it to the track and field teaching.3. Lintao County school leaders should increase emphasis on school sports,change concepts, increase the funding efforts, improve the conditions of venues and facilities, care and support to sports, create a good learning environment.4. Improve and perfect competition and safeguard mechanism, establish athlete selection mechanism which is adapted to the actual situation, encourage Lintao County secondary schools to organize various competitions and create more training opportunities to students. |
