In modern society, although much attention has been paid to children's education, the mother's cognitive problems which have the greatest influence on children's development have not got enough attention. Especially in the relatively less-developed economy and culture rural areas where the basic mothers' parenting cognitive problems still need to be solvedThis study adopts the method of literature and questionnaire investigation. The research target is the rural mother whose children are studying in the public and private kindergarten stage and setting a rural household registration and living in a rural natural chariot for a long time in Qiqihar. The purpose of investigating is to learn about the situation of rural mothers' nutrition knowledge and nutrition education demand towards young children and analyze how the demographic variables influence on the mothers' cognitive and demand as well as the relationship between nutrition cognition and nutrition education demand of rural mothers.According to the conclusions, put forward some suggestions.Results show that the overall nutritious cognitive degree of rural young children's mothers is generally above a horizontal line, but do not meet the higher cognition. Different age,different monthly nutrient inputs and average monthly income could influence it obviously.The cognition related to essential nutrients of food is on the medium level, but not achieve higher cognitive level, which is influenced obviously by different income putting into nutrients and average monthly income. The cognitive level which is related to disease is higher; the cognitive level which is related to children's diet is in a general level, but do not meet the higher cognitive level. It is influenced obviously by different age, different rural-living time,educational level, professional quality, monthly nutrient inputs and monthly average income.The cognition which is related to children's diet is influenced obviously by different age,different rural-living time, educational level, professional quality, monthly nutrient inputs and monthly average income. It is in a general level, but do not meet the higher cognitive level.In terms of nutrition education demand, rural mothers overall demand for nutrition education is in a general degree. The demand degree on nutrition education curriculum pattern is not high. Both them are influenced by different age, different rural-living time, educational background, professional quality, monthly nutrient inputs and monthly average income.Different age, education level, professional quality, month average income variables can influence nutritional education content and they have a higher degree of demand.In the study of relationship, the cognitive level which is related to disease has a significant correlation between nutrition education curriculum pattern and the content of nutritional education.The cognition which is related to children's diet has a significant correlation in nutrient educational curriculum pattern. The rest had no significant correlation between dimensions.Finally, according to the research findings and conclusions, suggestions are provided to relevant departments.
