Private Universities In Hebei Province On Self-defense Study On Curriculum Optimizatio

As a subgroup of the ordinary colleges and the cradle of cultivating high-competent college students,private undergraduate colleges have a large number of students with the expansion of independent recruitment in recent years.Due to poor safety awareness,low selfdefense ability,some college students were missing or murdered while taking taxies,or they were in great danger while going out.These incidents are widely seen in news reports,and have greatly influenced students' study,life and growth parents,colleges and society pay high attention to "the safety of college students,which has become an important,difficult problem for college students management.How to cultivate college students' self-defense awareness and skills has become a hot topic on campus worthy of attention..Self-defense techniques is a course aiming to improve students' self-defense consciousness and self-defense ability,and gets increasingly welcomed by young college students.After establishing for years,selfdefense technique course has been grounded and has possessed connotation.However,there is still something to be improved in its objectives,teaching content,teaching time,and teaching assessment.Based on the survey of self-defense skills course from 6 private undergraduate colleges,this paper discovers that the course has been analyzed theoretically and technically and has played a good role in training and improving students' physical ability.Whereas,as a course to cultivate students' life skills and response skills,it hasn't trained students systematically and there are some shortcomings in its contents.There are some shortcomings in certain aspects,such as the course goal,teaching hours and course evaluation.This paper aims to modify the present self-defense technique course,perfect its teaching objectives,increase teaching contents,complete teaching hours and revise its assessment system after interviewing some police officers,folk boxers,scholars in colleges and analyzing questionnaires for some leaders in charge of student work,teachers and students in some private colleges.Meanwhile,the paper is aimed to extract and integrate theoretical knowledge and technique system which is suitable for private colleges in Hebei province,so as to satisfy the need of students and college security,and serve security construction in private colleges.Although the paper hasn't been verified by experiment due to the teaching environment,we wish it could be helpful to improve the present teaching situation of the self-defense course in the later teaching process,and improve students' self-defense consciousness and self-defense skills,finally start a new viewpoint for students' security work,reassuring students,parents and colleges.
