This paper is written from the perspective of Uighur who making naan in Lanzhou.Through the research and observation of Kurban's family to explore the city adaptation of the floating Uighur population in Lanzhou.This paper can be divided into three parts,introduction,text and conclusion.The cause,study meaning,previous study and fieldwork site has been expounded in the first part.Then the text contains three chapters.The first chapter,flow reasons and occupation choices of Uighur who making naan in Lanzhou that based on the theory of "Push and Pull" and” Cost Benefit”.Then according to time of one day,introduced the Kurban's family how to work and live.The third chapter analysis the gains and the pains of Kurban's family in Lanzhou by observation and interview.The last part concluded the bidirectional adaptation between Uighur floating population and the city.And aimed at these problems,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the bidirectional adaptation by the community function.Through the research,we can know that how the Uygur floating population adjusted in the city of Lanzhou.Then have an insight into their achieves and dilemma.Promoting the adaptation of the floating population to the city has a positive meaning to the development of the city.This requires the city and floating population co-adaptations with each other.And the community plays an important role in promoting such a bidirectional adaptation.
