Research On Empioyment Quality Of Floating Population In Chongqing

Population mobility plays a vital role in politics,economy,and culture of all countries.The floating population not only influences the process of national urbanization,industrialization,and regional economic integration,but also plays an important role in the country's economic construction.Different from the migration of western countries,due to the unique household registration system and large population base,China's population mobility is mainly employment-oriented.The main purpose is to obtain higher and more stable economic income through better employment.Quality has an impact on the living conditions of the floating population and urban integration.This study focus on the relationship among floating population,employment opportunities,employment income and other employment quality through big data.The combing and recoding the variables of the questionnaire is carried out based on the inflow population data of Chongqing in the 2015 national floating population dynamic monitoring data of the National Health and Family Planning Commission.Based on the dynamic monitoring data structure,the employment quality is expressed in terms of both employment income and occupational level.According to Lu Xueyi's theory of social stratification,occupations are divided into five categories: upper social stratum,upper middle stratum,middle stratum,middle stratum and lower stratum.level.At the same time,the demographic characteristics of the floating population,employment channels,employment industry,and employment status are used as independent variables to study the factors affecting the employment quality of floating populations.The employment channels are divided into in-group and out-group according to the theory of reference group behavior.Based on theory and literature review,the research hypothesis that education level and employment channels have a significant impact on the quality of employment is proposed.Through SPSS 21.0 descriptive analysis,chi-square test and binary LOGISTIC regression analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:The natural structure of the floating population in Chongqing shows that the pattern of equal migration for men and women of floating population has basically taken shape.The influent subjects are mainly young and middle-aged.The “new generation” and “post-90s” populations are nearly 60%.The social structure shows that the educational level is mainly junior high school and higher than the national average.Three-fourths of the inflowing population has already formed a family.Seven of the influx population has become a township-city migration.The migrant workers are still the main force in the western floating population.The spatial structure shows that the population mobility in Chongqing is dominated by the flow between the districts and counties in the city.The characteristics of the employment quality of floating population in Chongqing have the following characteristics: In the state of employment,nearly one-quarter of the influx population is in an unworked,and their employment pressure and unemployment risk are further increased;the influx of people into the population is mainly self-employed(28.2%).),friends(20.3%)and corporate recruitment(16.5%);from the employment industry perspective,3/4 of the influx population is still employed in the “five traditional industries”;employment status is mainly employee(66%);In terms of guaranteeing participation,50% of the influx population enjoys endowment insurance,30% enjoy unemployment,work injury and maternity insurance,93% of inflowing population have medical insurance,and 1/3 of influx populations are concentrated in individual industrial and commercial households and private enterprises.The risk of stable employment for the influx of people is further increased.From the perspective of career level,the floating population is mainly concentrated in the middle and lower layers;the monthly income from employment is concentrated at 1500~5174 yuan,and the internal income distribution of floating population is relatively reasonable.Based on the above descriptive analysis,the paper compares and analyzes the differences in employment income and occupational levels of different types of floating populations using cross-listing and chi-square test.The results of the Chi-square test show that gender,age,education level,marital status,the nature of the account,employment channels,employment industry,and employment status all have a significant effect on employment income and occupational levels.In addition,the length of the flow has a significant effect on the occupational level.There is a positive correlation between levels and employment income.On the basis of the two-variable(chi-square test),using the binary LOGISTIC regression analysis to find the influencing factors affecting the employment income and occupation level,the results found that the level of education,employment channels,employment status have the employment income and occupation level Significant impact,in addition to gender has a significant impact on employment income,marital status,the nature of the account and the length of the flow of time have a significant impact on the professional level.Based on the findings of big data research,this paper proposes to improve the employment quality of floating population by vigorously developing vocational education to enhance human capital,constructing social support networks,expanding employment channels,and safeguarding the basic group benefits of workers.Based on the quantitative survey of big data,this paper analyzes the employment quality of floating population in Chongqing for the first time,tests the research hypothesis,and enriches the reference group behavior theory and social stratification theory connotation.This article is subject to the constraints of the national dynamic data structure itself and lacks a comprehensive analysis of the quality of employment of floating population.
