Study On The Chemical Constituents Of The Scorpion Maple And Hainan Triangle Petals

In order to study the secondary metabolites in the leafs of Fragrant Heteropanax and the roots of Prismatomeris connata ssp. Hainanensis Y.Z. Ruan, in this paper, the phytochemical constituent in the ethanol extract from the leafs of Fragrant Heteropanax and the roots of Prismatomeris connata ssp. Hainanensis Y.Z. Ruan have been isolated and purified by means of silica column chromatography, gel filtration chromatography(LH-20), preparative thin layer plate, reversed phase silica gel column chromatography(RP18) and Medium-pressure or High performance liquid chromatograph. All sixteen compounds that achieved from the plants were dried by vacuum freeze-drying technology and analyzed by modern spectroscopy as NMR(Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) and MS(Mass Spectrum), even the comparison of spectral data in literatures or standard compound sample in TLC(Thin Layer Chromatography). From the result of the analysis we know that there are two compounds are new and the left is known. However, 8 compounds which isolated from the leafs of Fragrant Heteropanax were first detected in it. They are Kaempferol-3-O-?-D-rutinoside, Quercetin 3-O-?-D-rutinoside, Quercetin-3-O-?-Dglucopyranoside, 3'-methoxy-Quercetin-3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside, kaempferol 3-O-?-D-glucopyranoside, Protocatechuic acid, 4?,10?-aromadendranediol and(7S,8R)-balanophonin-4-O-?-D-glucopyranoside. Seven compounds were purified from the roots of Prismatomeris connata ssp. Hainanensis Y.Z. Ruan, and two compounds were identified as new ones while the others were discovered in this plant. The name of the two new nature products are 1-hydroxy-6-(hydroxymethyl)-2,3,4-trimethoxy-anthracene-9,10-dione and 5-hydroxy-7-(hydroxymethyl)-1,2-dimethoxyanthracene-9,10-dione.
