With the oil exploration and development become increasingly complex,horizontal wells will become the main means of major domestic and foreign oil and gas fields to increase production.During the horizontal well drilling process,the drill string is located the narrow well which filled with drilling fluid inside and outside,it usually under pressure,bending,twisting,hydraulic pressure and other loads,the stress conditions and underground environment is very bad,which resulting in drill string safety accidents occur frequently.The occurrence of such accidents will not only cause the scrapping of oil and gas wells,but also lead to the casualties of construction workers,seriously restricting the development of China's oil industry.During the drilling process,drill string fracture,drill string fatigue damage,drill and other drill safety accidents are mostly caused by abnormal changes of friction torque and drill string stress.At present,the analysis of friction stress and drill string stress are still in the static analysis,The real-time monitoring of the friction torque and the drill string stress is not yet ripe.In view of this,this paper presents a real-time monitoring of friction torque and drill string stress by using the ground gauge measurement data,thus ensuring the safety of the drill string,which is vital significance to select the drill string to prevent the occurrence of safety accidents in the underground drill string and ensure safe and reliable drilling operation,and achieved the following results:1.A safety real-time monitoring system of ground drill string is developed,and a data acquisition system based on ground instrument and auxiliary,which realize the real-time data acquisition and fusion,and through the real-time monitoring of friction torque and drill string stress,to ensure the safety of drill string,improve the success rate of drill string safety monitoring,effectively reduce other derivative accidents caused by drill string safety,with field application capacity;2.Through the analysis of the safety monitoring of the drill string,the parameters of drill string safety real-time monitoring are determined,and the technical scheme of drill string safety real-time monitoring is completed.3.According to the technical scheme of ground drill string safety real-time monitoring system,a real-time monitoring model of friction torque and drill string stress are established,which is the theoretical basis for the development of drill string safety real-time monitoring system,to ensure the safety and reliability of construction work process;4.Based on the identified drill string safety real-time monitoring scheme and on-site matching equipment,the hardware design of the drill string safety ground real-time monitoring system is completed;A set of drill string safety ground real-time monitoring system supporting database is designed and developed by using SQL Server 2008 database,based on the WITS standard data acquisition and transmission protocol,the design and software development of the matching data acquisition system are completed,which provides data support for the development of the drill string safety ground real-time monitoring system.5.Based on the established real-time monitoring model of drill string safety ground and the matching hardware system,the architecture design of the drill string safety ground real-time monitoring system is completed,and then development of the drill string safety ground real-time monitoring system and integration of the hardware and software,thus a set of real-time monitoring system for data mining and safety monitoring is established,and six field applications are completed,which folly validates the accuracy of the system monitoring results and the reliability and stability of the system operation.System application results show that:the system is running in a good condition,the monitoring results to meet the actual requirements of the site,to guide the drilling site construction,to ensure safe drilling.The drill string safety ground real-time monitoring system designed and developed in this paper makes full use of the advantages of the existing ground measuring instruments,and forms a set of real-time monitoring system for data mining and safety monitoring,which can provide a more complete and convenient technical decision support platform for on-site construction personnel,with a high practical value.
