With the rapid development of modern manufacturing industry,the precision require ment of mechanical products is becoming higher and higher.As an important part of the mechanical transmission parts,the accuracy of the gear directly determines the stability of the mechanical movement.The detection of the gear manufacturing precision becomes an indispensable part of the manufacturing enterprises.But at present,the widely used measuring instruments and methods have many disadvantages,such as complex operation,low efficiency,and so on,and it is difficult to measure complex gear such as bevel ge ar or arc gear.This reduces the accuracy of the gear detection and restricts the improve ment of gear manufacturing precision.In this paper,a non-contact gear measuring device based on laser displacement sens or is put forward for the first time and the corresponding numerical control measurement analysis software is developed.It can be used for tooth pitch deviation,tooth profile d eviation,radial runout deviation of various types of gear.This paper introduces the devel opment of gear measuring technology and instrument in recent years.The coordinates of the gear tooth surface are sampled by the trigger or scanning probe,and then the sampli ng points are fitted to calculate the tooth surface error in the workpiece coordinate syste m.The contact measuring method has certain requirements for the measuring surface,an d the measuring path is set in advance.In addition,the ordinary contact measurement is difficult to detect with complex tooth surface of bevel gear and arc gear,and the devel opment of this type of gear measurement center is more sophisticated and difficult,there is no mature domestic products now.The measuring device is mainly composed of working table,mechanical motion mec hanism,servo control system,laser displacement sensor and host computer.The mechanic al structure part adopts linear module and the grating with high accuracy in order to im prove the positioning precision of motion.At the same time,the motion control card bas ed on PCI bus is used to control the servo system with high accuracy and high efficienc y.In view of the shortcomings of the current contact measurement method,the paper pr esents the non-contact measurement method and the corresponding error analysis method.Based on high precision description of the displacement of tooth profile by laser displac ement sensor,the displacement data are transformed into the coordinate points in the Car tesian coordinate system,and the error data are analyzed.The non-contact measuring met hod has the advantages of high efficiency,high precision,simple operation,wide adaptab ility and so on.By combining secondary development of Solidworks,VB development tech nology and database technology,the three functions of model simulation,motion control and error analysis are integrated into one,and the software system of the measuring devi ce is successfully completed.In this paper,the experiment is carried out by means of self-developed device and measurement system.By analyzing the data,the effective deviation of tooth pitch,tooth profile and radial run-out is obtained.The feasibility and correctness of the proposed met hod are verified.The method proposed in this paper can meet the basic needs of the ge ar detection,and lay the foundation for the research and development of the non-contact gear measurement method.
