Research On The Application Of Regional Culture In Urban Furniture Design

With the development of economic construction in China,people’s demands to the quality of life is becoming more and more high,also puts forward new requirements to urban furniture design.Furniture as the way of the most direct expression of city information,should attach importance to the inheritance and continuity of regional culture,to reveal the urban context and individuality.This paper takes weifang city furniture design as an example,put forward the basic idea of the weifang city furniture design and method,explore the urban furniture design with weifang regional culture characteristics,to enhance people’s sense of identity and belonging of weifang city weifang.This topic research,is in a large collection of related literature at home and abroad on the basis of field investigation and multi-angle comparison and analysis.Based on weifang regional culture and urban furniture design as the research object,adopt the method of sampling and investigation on the representative block of weifang city furniture planning and design,to summarize the characteristics of regional culture performance of the general rule of urban furniture design and the design principle,the colleagues for reference.This article mainly from the following three parts to discuss:The first part:a brief overview of regional culture under the urban furniture design research background,research purpose and meaning,current research situation and content,research method and the basic framework of the paper structure,etc.The second part:combining the content of regional culture in urban furniture design in the related design theory(including design methods,principles,elements)to focus on details,and on this basis to weifang regional culture,some blocks of street furniture field survey analysis,found the existing problems of weifang city furniture.The third part:according to the corresponding design theory,combined with practice the result of the survey analysis,the weifang regional culture characteristics of urban furniture create a proposed own view,finally on the basis of the above chapters summary.of related in this paper,the final conclusion and research prospect.
