No matter now or in future,copper smelting will continue to rely on pyrometallurgy m ethod,the copper smelting dust will be produced inevitable at the copper smelting progress,t here are many valuable metals in it,such as copper,iron,plumbum and zinc,also have the harmf ul elements such as arsenic and cadmium.The comprehensive utilization of copper dust has a ttracted broad attention by metallurgy industry and researchers,but the traditional treatment proce ss are long process line,low comprehensive recovery rate and are hard to separate the harmf ul substances.This paper explore the method combined concentration and smelting process t o treat copper dust,meanwhile,the arsenic selective leaching technology from high acid-leach ing solution was been conducted.As a result,it has important theoretical significance and pr actical value for development of green and high efficient utilization technology of copper d ust.Based on the results of previous,a n acid leaching-magnetic pretreatment method was proposed to leach copper smelting dust,iron was go into magnetic separation slag,copper,iron,arsenic and cadmium been leached into solution from copper dust simultaneously.The effecting factors such as initial concentration of sulfuric acid,ratio of liquid to solid,temperature and time,magnetic induction intensity on leaching rate and iron content in magnetic separation slag has been studied in details.The optimal technique was be determined as follows: the initial concentration of sulfuric acid is 0.50mol·L-1,the liquid-solid ratio is 6:1,the processing time of 1.5h under 65°C,under this conditions,the recovery rate of copper,arsenic and cadmium can reach 48.47%,90.01% and 90.14%,the recovery rate of iron was only 12.56%,about 85% iron in smelting dust go into magnetic seperation slag,the leaching slag Pb content is 54% and Bi content is 5.2%.This method can achieve beneficiation of iron and reduce the negative impact of iron to the recovery process effectively.The research of arsenic selective removal from high arsenic acid leaching solution had been researched,a new arsenic selective removal reagent A was been developed.The optimal conditions as follows:the dosage of precipitant A is 60g·L-1,H2O2 is 180 mL·L-1,ageing time is 30 min,the processing time of 60 min under 65°C.The experiment al results show that precipitation efficiency of arsenic is achieved as 95.07%,about 2.83% Cu and 2.88% Cd been concentrated into arsenic containing dregs.This experiment s showed that reagent A can obtain significant effect for arsenic selective removal.The arsenic containing dregs was extracted by alkali solution and regeneration,the optimal technology be determined as follows :the dosage of Alkali as 3.13 times of the theoretical amount,the alkali-leaching time of 45 min under 75°C,the liquid to solid ratio of 6/1,under this conditions 97.31% of arsenic is leached from the arsenic containing dregs,the regeneration of arsenic selective removal reagent A had been achieved.Under the optimal conditions of arsenic selective removal from high arsenic acid leaching solution,the regenerate precipitant is 60g·L-1 and 15g·L-1 A was added,the removal rate can reached 95.68%,its indicated that the regenerate precipitant can utilized cyclically.
