In view of the shortage of copper resources, this paper explored and studied the hydrometallurgical arsenic removal technology for high arsenic copper concentrate, which can expand the range of arsenic in the copper concentrate purchased by copper smelting enterprises. Two hydrometallurgical processes for arsenic removal from high arsenic copper concentrate were studied and formulated. In sodium hydroxide-sodium hypochlorite leaching process, the factors affecting the removal rate of arsenic are sodium hypochlorite concentration, liquid solid ratio and time;the optimum technological conditions are as follows: leaching time is 1~2h,and temperature is 50 ?;increasing the stirring speed has a great effect on the removal efficiency of arsenic, and the increase of liquid solid ratio will lead to the increase of leaching rate of arsenic. The technology of arsenic removal can be used to treat the oxidation waste water as high salt wastewater, and the process cost is low. Moreover, with this process, the metal molybdenum in the copper concentrate can be dissolved, which lays the foundation for recycling the associated molybdenum and realizes the comprehensive utilization of the resources. In the process of arsenic removal from sodium sulfide and sodium hydroxide solution, the optimum technological conditions were determined through experiments. The results show that the leaching rate of arsenic is greatly affected by the addition of sodium sulfide and sodium hydroxide, but the problem of hydrogen sulfide pollution remains to be solved further.
