| Carbon fiber composites(CFRP)have high specific modulus and strength,so CFRP has attracted enough attention in the field of science and industry.With the expansion of the CFRP application,the requirements for the CFRP forming parts are becoming higher and higher,and the drilling processing occupies an extremely important position in the aviation manufacturing industry.However,due to the anisotropy of CFRP,the quality of its drilling is much harder to control.This makes it very important and meaningful to study the processing of high quality holes.This paper mainly conducts the following four aspects:First,the axial force model of the CFRP rotary planing drilling is established,according to the theoretical formulation of the axial force of the rotary planing drilling that the related characteristics of axial force of rotary planing drilling only and CFRP laminated material itself,but also closely related with the process parameters during the drilling process and the angle of rotation of the cutter geometry.To reduce the axial force during the drilling process through geometry variable feed technology and change rotary planer cutter.Secondly,ABAQUS is used to simulate the machining process of rotary planing drilling,numerical model by using the vulnerability layer and interface layer,criterion layer using 3D HASHIN vulnerability criterion,interface layer through cohesive unit implementation.Change the main angle and the side angle of the main plane geometry simulation,obtained relatively better,narrowing the scope,continue to carry out simulation.According to the result of the simulation process of the rotary planing drilling,the geometric parameters of the cutters with the least axial force and the outlet quality of the hole have been obtained.Then,carry out the experiment of making hole by rotating planing,and the axial force in the drilling process was tested.It was found that the axial force coincidence between experiment and simulation is good.By measuring the roughness of hole wall,fitting with MATLAB,found that the average roughness of the hole increases with the average axial force increases,can reduce the axial force by rotary planing drilling to reduce the roughness of hole wall,improve the quality of hole wall;using layered ultrasonic C scanning of CFRP laminates were detected,and stratified factor numerical characterization of layered,that reduce the axial force in the process of rotary planing drilling can effectively reduce the delamination damage;the quality of export CFRP laminates observation of rotary planing drilling,found small tear and burr damage.Comprehensive analysis of rotary planing drilling axial force and drilling quality,get the final spin cutter geometry combination.Last,analysising of wear rotary planer cutter,adding diamond coating for rotary planer cutter.For drilling experiment of uncoated and coated rotary planer cutter experiment shows that the coated rotary planer cutter in rotary planing drilling axial force and VB value were lower than that of uncoated rotary planer cutter.Put forward the idea of the design of removable rotary planer cutter,cutter body structure symmetrical to the axis of rotation,two blade symmetric distribution,tangential arrangement,blade with a screw in the knife groove. |
