Clinical Observation Of Yiqiyangyang Recipe In The Treatment Of 74 Patients With Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is one of the most common malignancies of female patient, although our country is in low risk of this disease. But its incidence rises up year by year, and the patients are more and more young, and its incidence is the first one of the female carcinoma. The incidences of the women who live in the city are higher than living in the village. Breast cancer impacts the physical and mental health of the Chinese female patient. Along with the advancement of the western medicine, the treatments of breast cancer are more and more. But at the same time, the treatment of the surgery, radiation and chemotherapy brings a lot of side effects. This paper aims to study the therapeutic action of the prescription of tonifying qi and warming yang for the side effects of the surgery, radiation and chemotherapy in the patients with breast cancer and the intervention to the syndromes of traditional chinese medicine. And it combines the TCM syndrome elements and the TNM clinical staging, the histopathological diagnosis and the hormone receptor status to announce the inherent correlations, and it studys the inherent correlations of the efficacy of the herbs and clinical features to guide the clinical differentiation therapy.Research Objective:To study the changes of the TCM syndromes before and after the surgery, radiation and chemotherapy and observe the clinical efficacy of the herbs.Methods:The paper adopts the retrospective study method to collect the basic data, such as menstrual history, family history, childbearing history, lactation history, lymphatic metastasis, ER, PR, HER-2, Vascular cancer embolus, TNM clinical staging, previous treatment history of the breast cancer patients who accord with the criteria for case selection in the outpatient clinic of Dongfang Hospital and so on. This paper compare the changes of TCM syndromes, KPS, scores of the symptoms and so on. And it combines the TCM syndrome elements and the TNM clinical staging, the histopathological diagnosis and the hormone receptor status to announce the inherent correlations, and it studys the inherent correlations of the efficacy of the herbs and clinical features. The paper adopts SPSS11.0software, such as t test, X2test and rank sum test methods to make statistics and analysis.Results:The patients are all female, the mean age is52.84+/-9.66years old. The TCM syndrome types are the deficiency of Yang Qi, deficiency of Yang Qi and liver qi stagnation, deficiency of Yang Qi and Phlegm damp resistance, deficiency of Yang Qi and blood stasis and deficiency of Qi and Yin. The sums of cases of the different types are18cases,4cases,35cases,11cases and6cases. And the ratios are24.32%,5.41%,47.3%,14.86%and8.11%. Statistical results show that:(1) There is no difference between different TNM clinical staging and the different expression of ER. the different TCM syndrome types and the invasive ductal carcinoma.(2) After drinking the herbs of one month or three months, the symptoms and the TCM syndrome of the patients have relieved obviously. The KPS are improved obviously.(3) After drinking the herbs of one month or three months, the symptom of fat have relieved obviously, the study confirms that the endocrine environment has changed. The levels of estrogen reduce which changed from propylene glycol male in the body. The levels of estrogen in the blood reduce, and the stimulations to the breast cells have reduced to inhibit the happening, relapsing and metastasizing of the breast cancer.Conclusions:(1) The TCM syndrome characteristics of the patients who are after surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, are intermingled deficiency and excess. The syndrome factors of the deficiency are the deficiency of Yang Qi and deficiency of Qi and Yin. The syndrome factors of the solid evidence are liver qi stagnation, Phlegm damp resistance and blood stasis. The one who takes up the first one is deficiency of Yang Qi and Phlegm damp resistance, the second one is deficiency of Yang Qi, the third one is deficiency of Yang Qi and blood stasis and deficiency of Qi and Yin, and the last one is deficiency of Yang Qi and liver qi stagnation. We can treat the disease with tonifying qi and warming yang, and increase the different herbs in different TCM syndrome.(2) There is no differences between different TCM syndrome in the different hormone receptors and the different pathological and histological diagnosis. The conclusions point out that we can not adhere to the clinical indicators in the TCM clinical dignosis, and can accord to the actual situation of the different syndrome.(3) The prescription of tonifying qi and warming yang has the following effects, such as enriching Qi, warming the kidney, activating yang and transforming Qi, drying wet and resolving phlegm and eliminating stagnation. The prescription can affect the TCM syndrome characteristics. The prescription can better the clinical symptom significantly, relieve the side effects of the surgery, radiation and chemotherapy and the tongue appearance and the pulse manifestation.The prescription can improve KPS obviously, and improve QOL and alleviate the pain.(4) The prescription of tonifying qi and warming yang have relieved the symptom of fat obviously, the study confirms that the decreasing of BMI and fat can reduce the levels of estrogen in the blood reduce, and the stimulations to the breast cells have reduced to inhibit the happening, relapsing and metastasizing of the breast cancer.
