The main method of chinese medicine to diagnose disease is inspection,listening and smelling, inquiry, pulse taking and palpation, four examinations in general, inspection is the top position across the four examinations. Eye diagnosis is to know about the status of human health or disease by inspection of eye’s vitality, complexion, physique, blood and vessels. However, the observation and judgment of TCM eye diagnosis is establish on the accumulation of medical practice and vulnerable to the individual subjective factors, which bring much inconvenience to the clinical application, teaching and research of eye diagnosis and seriously restrict the development of eye diagnosis. So, there is necessity to do the research on objectification of TCM eye diagnosis. Realizing the objectification of TCM diagnosis through digital method is widely used in objectification study of tongue inspection and pulse diagnosis. In terms of eye diagnosis, naked eyes observation can only qualitative, not quantitative, strong subjective dependence and baseless of objective and quantitative. So, how to make the eye diagnosis quantitative and then make the eye diagnosis objectification is the problem that needs to be solved first.To solve the problems of how to do TCM eye diagnosis digital research, this paper did research on digitizing method of TCM eye diagnosis based on image analysis technology. Firstly, this study discussed the reserch status and existing problem of eye diagnosis and TCM four examinations objectification by literature research. The reason why this study discussed the reserch status and existing problem of TCM four examinations objectification is the digitization and objectification of eye diagnosis belong to the TCM diagnosis objectification research. Through studying of the status of TCM four examinations objectification, learning the research ideas and methods from TCM four examinations objectification, and avoiding the problems of TCM four examinations objectification, which can contribute to speed up the process of eye diagnosis objectification research. Secondly, this paper discussed the basic research ideas and main contents of eye diagnosis based on image analysis technology, and conducted the study of iridology digitization from three aspect: iris image characteristics description and expression, iris image feature extraction and analysis of characteristics of the iris image. In the process of carrying out digital iris diagnosis research, based on the needs of processing and analysis of the characteristics of the iris image,this paper also did some experimental work to implement the research platform. Through analyzing the iris features, it was found that the method of iris features representation and description can effectively support the representation and measurement of the iris image features and it is feasible to carry out the clinical research of TCM eye diagnosis by the basic method of image information acquisition, image information processing and the analysis of image information. Finally, this paper summarized the reserch work, discussed some problems should be improved and proposed the future work. |
