The Efficacy Of Fenestration And Nucleus Pulposus Combined With Duhuo Jisheng Decoction In The Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Purpose:Therapeutic Effect Observation on Treatment of LDH with Resection of Nucleus Pulposus of Lumbar Intervertebral Disc and Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang.Material and method:42 cases of resection of nucleus pulposus of lumbar intertebral disc,which are from the 1st Department of Orthopedics in LNUTCM Affiliated spital during March 2014 to December 2016,randomly divide into TCM group and cntrol group.The TCM group have been treated with both operation and decoction.The control group merely been treated with operation.To clarify the therapeutic effect of resection of nucleus pulposus of lumbar intervertebral disc,by comparing the VAS(Visual Analogue Scale/Score)of all samples in before operation and 2 weeks after operation.To clarify the therapeutic effect of Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang in postop by contrastive analysis the ODI(Oswestry Disability Index)of all samples in postop 2 months and the latest follow-up.All above to evaluate the therapeutic effect of resection of nucleus pulposus of lumbar intervertebraldisc and Du Huo Ji Sheng Tang in treating LD H.Results: All 42 samples had been follow-up at the average time of 21.2 months.VAS: before operation(8.9±0.51),postop 2 weeks(2.8±0.53),P<0.05,be statistical significance.ODI of postop 3 months : TCM(0.19±0.04),control group(0.26±0.06),P﹤0.05,be statistical significance;ODI of latest follow-up: TCM(0.09±0.03),concrol group(0.13±0.05),P﹤0.05 between groups,be statistical significance.Conclusion: 1.Resection of nucleus pulposus of lumbar intervertebral disc has accurately effect in treating LDH.2.Using Du Huo Ji Shen Tang after operation can effectively improve symptoms in a short period of time,and improve quality of life,but more long time follow-up is still needed.
