Clinical Efficacy Of Sanmei Zhike Granule In The Treatment Of Cough Variant Asthma (wind And Stagnation Syndrome)

Objective:In our country,Cough Variant Asthma(CVA)accounts for 1/3 of the patients who have been chronic coughing,and because the clinical symptoms of this disease are relatively simple,even only dry cough is visible,the pulmonary auscultation is not abnormality,and it is easy to be misdiagnosed,resulting in the great loss of the patient and medical resources.Therefore,it is of great significance to improve the prevention and control of cough variant asthma and to improve the level of prevention and treatment of major diseases in the region.Sangmei Zhike granule is the empirical prescription of Professor Cui in the treatment of cough variant asthma.This study is a randomized controlled study to confirm the efficacy and safety of Sangmei Zhike granule in treating cough variant asthma with wind and yin deficiency,and provide a safe,effective and standardized Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)treatment plan for CVA.Methods:Collected 60 cases of CVA in the Department of respiration of Third Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine in June 2017-2018 and the patients of TCM syndrome differentiation belonging to the type of wind and Yin injury.A randomized control study,patients were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,the control group using Budesonide and Formoterol Fumarate Powder for Inhalation(Symbicort)1 2/absorption treatment,the treatment group in the control group based on the treatment of SangMei ZhiKe granules with raspberry.The course of treatment was 4 weeks,followed up for 2 weeks.Before and after treatment were recorded TCM syndrome score,visual analogue scale(VAS),Laisaisi cough specific quality of life questionnaire(LCQ)and safety related indicators.The scores of TCM syndrome and visual analogue scale VAS were recorded at the follow-up period.Data results are established using Microsoft Excel and SPSS22.0 is used for statistical analysis.Results:The final inclusion of 58 patients,the treatment group dropped 2 cases,that is,the treatment group was included in 28 cases,and the control group was included in 30 cases.There were 20 cases of male patients,34.5%of the total and 38 cases of female patients,accounting for 65.5%of the total.The number of female cases was higher than that of men.Two groups of general data,including age,sex,etc.after data analysis,no statistical significance(P>0.05),with comparability.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 89.29%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 76.67%.Two groups of data showed that it was effective for CVA treatment,and the curative effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.TCM symptom score,the treatment group in reducing cough,shortness of breath,dry throat,itching throat,hoarseness of single points better than the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05),The two groups after treatment in expectoration symptom score had no significant difference,no significant difference(P<0.05).After treatment,the improvement of hoarseness symptoms in the control group was not obvious.There was no significant difference between the control group and the treatment before the treatment.There was no statistical difference(P>0.05).VAS integral,after treatment,the average score of the treatment group was 1.39±0.83,and the control group was 2.23±0.94.Compared with the control group,which was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.LCQ integral,the total score of two groups and the scores of three regions in each group after treatment were compared between groups,which was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the quality of life of CVA patients.There was no significant change in safety index before and after treatment.Conclusion:Sangmei Zhike granules can effectively alleviate the clinical cough symptoms of CVA patients with wind,wind and Yin,and significantly improve the clinical efficacy,improve the quality of life,safety and no adverse reactions.It has a long-term effect and can be widely applied in clinical practice.
