Obesity and osteoporosis are two major common chronic diseases,in recent years the incidence of rising year by year, morbidity and mortality is very high also,in recent years, both has gradually become the most common to all mankind health killer.ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between overweight and osteoporosis incidence in middle-aged and elderly people in Beijing,we analyze the distribution of body weight of the people of TCM physique in middle and old age population and the distribution of osteoporosis among the people of TCM physique in middle and old age population, and further explore the common dangerous physique factors of obesity and osteoporosis. In order to achieve the goal of reducing the risk of obesity and osteoporosis, this paper provides a reference for the prevention and treatment of obesity and osteoporosis from the point of view of "treatment without disease" in TCM.MethodThis study is based on the second batch of the National TCM Clinical Research Base(serial number JDZX20150759)--The National Osteoporosis syndrome combined with prospective community cohort study. The research subject is to select 768 as a convenient sampling method for the elderly in Beijing community as the object of study, using the form of questionnaires for cross-sectional investigation and measurement of height, weight and the use of HOLOGIC double energy X The bone density was measured by the line bone density instrument, and the lumbar spine L1-L5 and the left and right hip were selected. In the end,the relevant data collected will be recorded with Epidata3.1,and the database will be set up to ensure the reliability of the data.SPSS20.0 was used for statistical analysis, and the descriptive statistics were expressed by X ± S indicates, and the correlation analysis was based on the trend x2 test and multivariate logistic regression analysis.Results1.According to the stratification of gender, the prevalence of osteoporosis in male middle-aged population is 14.4%,the results showed no statistically significant correlation between obesity and osteoporosis(x 2MH=3.180,p=0.365);The prevalence of primary osteoporosis in female population is 35.8%,obesity and primary osteoporosis are negative associations(x2 MH-21.304,p<0.001).In the absence of stratification, the prevalence rate of osteoporosis in the population is 30.6%,obesity and osteoporosis are negative associations(X2 MH=26.952,p<0.001).And within the same BMI,the incidence of osteoporosis in older women is higher than that of men.2.According to the age of stratification, the prevalence of osteoporosis in the elderly population in the Beijing community increased with age(x2 MH=26.952,p<0.001).In all age groups,it was shown that obesity in middle-aged and elderly people was negatively correlated with osteoporosis(x2MH value is 11.926,13.924,7.095,and P values are 0.008,respectively,0.003,0.029)(except 40<age<50 group, this group has no data on osteoporosis).3.To remove gender and age, these two kinds of influence factors, this study uses multi-factor Logistic regression analysis, which shows negative correlation between obesity and primary osteoporosis(OR = 0.559,the OR 95%confidence interal is 0.444-0.704).4.768 cases of middle-aged and elderly people, according to the classification of physique, analysis of the body weight distribution of traditional Chinese medicine,in which the obesity rate of a higher degree of TCM Constitution is:hot and humid quality(35.3%)>phlegm-dampness quality(30.0%)>qi-stagnation(22.2%)>Blood stasis(21.3%).5.The number of middle-aged and elderly people with osteoporosis is,with a higher incidence of osteoporosis in order from large to small:Qi deficiency(45.2%)>Yang-deficiency(42.6%)>gas-stasis(33.3%)>Blood stasis(30.7%);The incidence of osteoporosis is higher in the following order:Yang Quality(40.6%)>deficiency(38.1%)>damp-Heat quality(28.6%)>Blood stasis(26.5%)Conclusion1.Overweight and osteoporosis in middle-aged and elderly people are negatively correlated, and research data found that in the same BMI the incidence of osteoporosis in women is higher than that of men.2.Middle-aged and elderly people most prone to obesity in the Chinese Medicine constitution for damp and humid quality, phlegm and moisture quality,Qi-yu quality, blood stasis;the most prone to osteoporosis in middle-aged and elderly population is Qi deficiency,Yang-deficiency,gas-stasis,Blood stasis. The most prone to osteoporosis in middle-aged and elderly overweight people are yang-deficiency,qi-deficiency,damp-heat quality and blood stasis.3.Damp-heat quality and blood stasis are the common risk factors for obesity and osteoporosis in middle-aged and old adults.
