Objectiv:This study explored the relationship between bone loss and atherosclerosis in middle-aged and elderly people by analyzing clinical samples, aiming to lay a foundation for finding new effective methods to prevent atherosclerosis. Methods:A total of 204 patients with osteoporosis and low bone mass were selected as the research objects, including 164 patients with osteoporosis and 40 patients with low bone mass, excluding the history of metabolic diseases and drugs affecting bone mass. All research data were entered by two independent people using EXCEL tables. The correlation between bone mass loss and atherosclerosis in middle-aged and elderly patients was analyzed.SPSS 22.0 statistical analysis software was used for univariate analysis and Logestic regression analysis. Results:In the osteoporosis group, there were 30 males and 134 females. There were 18 males and 22 females in the osteopenia group.Among them, the body mass index(BMI),blood calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, triglyceride(TG)and total cholesterol(TC)of patients in the osteoporosis group and the bone mass reduction group were analyzed.High density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),apolipoprotein A(APO-A),apolipoprotein(APO-B),lipoprotein(lipoprotein,LP),glutamic acid(Glu),uric acid, cystatin C,D-3hydroxybutyric acid,L-lactate,hypersensitive C-reactive protein,There were no significant differences in hs-CRP,Alanine transaminase(ALT),glutamic-oxaltransami(GOT),smoking history, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, coronary heart disease, drinking and stroke(P>0.05),and there were statistically significant differences in age and gender between the two groups(P< 0.05).The left brachial-ankel pulse wave velocity(ba PWV)of osteoporosis group(2630.85 ± 495.66)was significantly different from that of bone loss group(1860.64 ± 328.71)(P=0.024).There was significant difference in right ba PWV between osteoporosis group(2560.17±518.22)and bone loss group(1795.33±425.45)(P=0.038).The T value of osteoporosis group(-2.85±0.45)was significantly different from that of bone loss group(-1.92±0.32)(P=0.014).Thebone mineral density(BMD)of osteoporosis group(0.80±0.13)was significantly higher than that of bone mass reduction group(0.85±0.19)(P=0.016).The left ankle brachial index(ABI)of osteoporosis group(1.23 ± 0.09)was significantly higher than that of bone mass reduction group(1.02±0.13)(P=0.017).The right ABI of osteoporosis group(1.25±0.07)was significantly different from that of bone mass reduction group(1.05±0.09)(P=0.033).The T value of arteriosclerosis group(-2.13±0.51)was significantly higher than that of non-arteriosclerosis group(-1.75±0.40)(P=0.025).The results showed that age(P=0.036),gender(P=0.039),hypertension(P=0.042),left ba PWV(P=0.041),right ba PWV(P=0.042),left ABI(P=0.029),right ABI(P=0.035)were all associated with bone mass loss, and the differences were statistically significant. It is an independent risk factor for bone mass loss in middle-aged and elderly people.T value was negatively correlated with left ba PWV,right ba PWV,left ABI,and right ABI.Conclusion:Gender, age, hypertension,ba PWV and ABI are the influencing factors of bone mass loss and independent risk factors of bone mass loss.Bone mass loss is associated with lower limb arteriosclerosis. |
