The category learning is a basic cognitive activity for human to understand the world, and feedback play an important role on perception category learning. Current research on category learning, has gone deep into the feedback characteristic factor category, such as delayed feedback, probability feedback and stimulate-offset etc. However, in the experimental study, give priority to with materials – Gabor patch, has already formed a completed theoretical and experimental paradigm. But another experiment material- family resemblance materials in the study of category learning more and more be taken seriously in recent years.Family Resemblance material refers to a feature of the family members are somewhat similar but different. Category learning based on the family resemblance more emphasis on the similarity between the members of the category, it has more dimensions(composed of multiple eigenvalues), so the more close to natural category material, can well explain the formation of natural category. Combined with the existing literature, this study based on the family resemblance category materials, we examined the effects of 3 variables on feedback characteristics: delay feedback, probability feedback and stimulate-offset to be studied in Category Learning feedback mechanism.In Experiment 1 we studied how the feedback delay time influence family resemblance category learning. We used 0 ms and 1000 ms two time points to explore the time effect of feedback, found that use the family resemblance category learning materials, when the feedback condition is set to 1000 ms delay, delay feedback conditions set achieve learning standards faster than immediate feedback conditions.In Experiment 2 we use the family resemblance categories structural materials to compare completely feedback with partly feedback on the effects of category learning. Probability feedback refers to the feedback or not is preset, according to the preset present the percentage of feedback to give feedback, that means not all the stimulusresponse was followed by a feedback. Results for complete and partial feedback feedback, two probability levels on category learning has no different.In Experiment 3 is to investigate its effect on the family resemblance category learning by manipulating the stimulate-offset features. Stimulate-offset means that when rendering feedback interface the stimulus appears on the screen at the same time. The results with and without stimulate-offset, the two stimulate-offset level effects on category learning as the same.In conclusion, We can get the following conclusions from the above three experiments: Feedback under different experimental material structure make difference on categories learning; Family resemblance material tend to be implicit learning materials; When we category learn to classification, we use explicit rule-based representation strategy priority, when it does not meet our needs, the representation strategy then change into information implicit.
