Investigation And Study On The Protection And Inheritance Of The Five Major Palaces In Haizhou

"Haizhou Five Modes of Ancient Chinese Music(HFMACM)" breeds in Lianyungang(Lianyungang was called Haizhou in the ancient time),which is a city with a long history and profound cultural heritage.By absorbing different kinds of music and cultural elements in Yangzhou and Huaibei area,HFMACM has formed an unique style and become a local folk music art in the long changing process of social background,natural environment?human culture of Lianyungang.HFMACM reflects residents' emotional expression,value,and aesthetic sentiment.After developing in hundreds of years and learning and disseminating in generations,HFMACM has become a precious art formation in Haizhou.On May 20th,2006,HFMACM was placed in the list of the state-level intangible cultural heritage on May 20th,2006.This paper conducts a.The author undertook a widely observation in the small temple song hall and the heritage base of HFMACM.After watching the performance and competition in the small temple song hall,the author concluded the history,analyzed styles of the music and discussed with the government officer and inheritor of HFMACM in Lianyungang,to make the paper a comprehensive and deep study on HFMACM.Research shows that the rich content and unique artistic form of HFMACM embodies the profound culture and music elements of local characteristics,which makes it popular in local public.HFMACM plays a very important role as a spiritual ballast of the local peopleExcept of introduction and conclusion,there are five parts in this paper.The first part elaborates the background,literature review,research objectives and methods of HFMACM.The innovations of this paper are showed at the end of the first part,the second part analyzes the geographical,social and cultural background,historical development,and name of HFMACM.The characteristics of HFMACM are discussed from different aspects such as singing tunes,performance form,accompaniment instrument and the representative tunes in part three.The structures of three classical tunes of HFMACM are also estimated by different methods at the end of this part.The forth part focus on the field research of HFMACM,which will be highlight in the paper.By conducting a long-time field research,analysis of the transmission methods in generations,and discussions with the government officer and inheritor,the author concludes the problems exist in the protection and transmission of HFMACM.The fifth part discusses about the approaches of the protection and transmission of HFMACM.Focusing on the problem of HFMACM,the author gives some advises of how to protect and disseminate HFMACM.Transmission approaches are also provided in the paper.
