Children are fond of animation.parents ought to take animation as the tool of education. However, the number of the research about how to use animation is quiet few.The paper aims to compare animation among three countries,China,Japan and America and to compare the strategies that parents among three countries use to educate their own children.I take questionnaire and interview as main ways to do the comparison.According to the research,I put forward some effective strategics for Chinese parents. As the conclusion, parents need to choose some bright-colored animation and parents should pay attention that the disposition of roles in animation should be complex. The plot of animation should be based on objects from reality and give enough space for children to imagine. The values in animation should not be simple.Parents and children should choose animation together. And parents can take teachers advice.Parents need to negotiate with children on when to watch animation, when to stop watching it and how long should be spent on it.Meanwhile, parents need to encourage children to ask question and don’t tell them answer directly. When children think about this question by themselves, parents can offer some help.Parents need to investigate the values in animation and show it to your own children.Parents need to seize the key point of developing children’s language and parents need to make some reward or punishment when children have done something good or bad.Animation are the tool not only for entertainment but also for education.Parent should have the proper attitude towards animation and know how to use it to educate their own children.
