Study On The Reed Dance In The Ceremony Of The Liupanshui Xiaohuamiao Jumping Flower Festival In Guizhou

Based on the research perspective of dance culture,this paper takes Lusheng dance of Liupanshui Xiaohuamiao in Tiaohua Festival as the research object.The author uses methods of literature review,field investigation,in-depth interview and observation to make a long-term survey of Lusheng dance in Tiaohua Festival of Xiaohuamiao of Three ponds Village,Nankai township,Shuicheng County,Liupanshui City.A comprehensive study of Lusheng dance is conducted from following aspects: the artistic form,culture ecology and inheritance present situation.Moreover,the paper explores the important role played by Lusheng dance of Miao compatriots in maintaining social structure and historical maintenance.According to the author,Lusheng dance of Xiaohuamiao in Tiaohuajie Festival has been a form of traditional ritual dances to communcate the feeling in Xiaohuamiao groups,worship ancestors and pray for good weather,thriving and prosperous clan.And it has been in existence for millennium and ever enduring with great vitality and its unique artistic charm.Not only has it well preserved folk song and dance of Xiaohuamiao,but also the miniature of the spiritual rhythm in religion,history,culture,containing a large number of precious cultural information in ceremonial dance.With the acceleration of modernization process,the primitive formation of Tiaohua Festival and the social identity of Lusheng dance in Tiaohua Festival have also changed.This thesis is composed of three parts: introduction,body parts including five chapters and conclusion.The introduction part mainly discusses the origin,significance and purpose of the topic,research review,research ideas and methods.The first chapter is the introduction of field survey,which gives an introduction of the geographical landscape,cultural customs in Liupanshui district.The second chapter introduces the origin,place,and process of Liupanshui Tiaohua Festival.The third chapter describes Lusheng Dance in Tiaohua Festival ceremony also called Jingji Dance,including its the performance form,characteristics and cultural connotation and function in the ceremony of Tiaohua festival.The fourth chapter explores close relationship of “you do have me,I do have you” between Tiaohua Festival ceremony and Jingji dance.The fifth chapter expounds the current situation of Jingji dance due to the change of the dominant mode,creation behavior,inheritance mode and cultural exchange function.In the conclusion part,the author introduces the new functions of Jingji Dance in Tiaohua festival ceremony in current society,such as economic development,entertainment,leisure and cultural communication,etc.
