Amy Beach is a representative composer of the United States from the late nineteenth Century to the early twentieth Century,and have great influence on social status and artistic creation.She was one of the most accomplished musicians in the early days of the founding of the United states.She is the only female of the music group known as the "second new England school",her female label in the background also has prominent social significance."Prelude and fugue" Op.81 a is the piano works creation in the early twentieth Century.This piece of content vivid and rich in content,with the help of the landscape depicts express on the character of the feeling of respect,beach had travelled through the Alps,the mountains and the majestic breadth of the beautiful natural landscape is her inspiration,the genre and theme motivation to work with music in the history of the two giants-Bach and Liszt.Music creation reflects the composer's inheritance of the romantic style and the preliminary exploration of the twentieth Century music style.Although the piano works in the beach are not mainstream musicians art activity choices,but in the process of contact and learning,can feel the value and the artistic charm.It is of great significance to study the background of the creation of the work and the composition techniques.This paper is divided into three chapters: the first chapter of the author's life experience,social background,music creation are introduced,and discusses the influence of women under the background of the composer's label;the second chapter analyzes and discusses from the musical structure,harmony and polyphony three aspects of creative features;the third chapter combined with the author's own performance practice,the playing point of change,from the speed and rhythm,touching and timbre of the point of view of works.Through the analysis of the background of the composer and the music content of the work,the author tries to show the artistic features of his works.
