Research On Nanjing Film Projection During The Fall Of The Period (1938-1945)

Since the film was introduced into China,it has not been recognized as entertainment or business phenomenon,but a reflection of culture and social life.From 1938 to 1945,the film industry in Nanjing during the occupied period was a historical existence which could not be ignored.As the political center of the enemy occupied area,Nanjing was under the control of the “Reform Government” and “Pseudo National Government” manipulated by Liang Hongzhi and Wang Jingwei.Accordingly,the contemporary development of the cinema projection industry was influenced by the politics,war,ideology and other factors,and formed a balanced situation including the drama film,the genre cinema,the culture film and the news film.The paper seeks to explore the factors which affected the cinema projection industry and tries to summarize its characteristics in Nanjing during the occupied period through sorting out the pattern of the cinema,the type of film and the audience psychology of the same time.The purpose of the paper is to restore the history of Nanjing and the ecological environment of Nanjing film industry and to present an obscured history.
